The Usui System of Reiki Healing is a hands-on (or hands-off as requested) healing practice. Reiki is an ancient healing technique that uses the Universal life force energy to balance the subtle energies within our bodies and to heal. Reiki practitioners act as a conduit or channel through which Reiki energy travels. Reiki aims to create balance in body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Reiki is being used today in clinics and hospitals all over the world to support health, wellness and transition.

Reiki tends to feel warm and profoundly relaxing. You may feel the hands of the Reiki practitioner become hot or tingly. Some people describe a floating sensation, and some see colours or shapes during the session. Some people fall asleep. Some experience emotional release. There is no expected experience - Reiki treatment is unique for everyone who receives it.

The most common results of Reiki treatment include:

* Perceived reduction in stress

* Increased relaxation

* Enhanced sense of balance, centeredness and calm

Just like meditation, or yoga, the effects of Reiki are cumulative. While one session can work wonders, repeated, regular Reiki treatments can invite significant improvement. As an example: if you exercise for an hour, you will receive benefit. If you exercise every day for a month, the results will be much more profound. Reiki works similarly – regular sessions support well-being in every way. I recommend at least 3 Reiki sessions a week apart, the first to clear, the second to initiate the healing and the third to activate.

Reiki is a complementary modality that works well alone as well as alongside other treatments. Healing is often the result of gentle shifts in awareness, release of emotional patterns, achievement of new understanding, and daily practice. Reiki is not a replacement for traditional medical treatment.

Distance Reiki is a form of healing energy "sent" across time and space that is received and has a healing effect on the recipient, you. With this type of work, you do not have to be physically present with the me to receive Reiki.

• You will join me via the link to Zoom I have sent you at the beginning of the session

• We will chat for 5minutes about why you are wanting Reiki and set an intention for the session

• I will sit for 10 minutes with crystals I have intuitively chosen to send Reiki while you relax in a comfortable place

• After 10 minutes we will discuss anything that came up during the Reiki session

Sip on a cup of Rose Cacao to calm and ground yourself into your body

Chat about why you came to see me for 10 minutes

Set the intention for the session

You will 

Lay fully clothed on a massage table, covered in a blanket if you choose, listening to soothing music and being open to receive Reiki

I will 

Lay my hands on (or off as requested) on/over your body in a series of hand positions to deliver Reiki energy for 40 minutes. A Reiki treatment generally covers first your head then the front of your body. If the reclined position is uncomfortable, Reiki can be performed while you sit in a chair or on a stool

Use a pendulum to further move energy over the chakras

Sweep over your body with a selenite wand to further cleanse

Close by having a drink of water to ground

We will 

Sit and chat about anything that may have come up during the Reiki Healing for 10 minutes
